Would you mind trying this with the latest version (1.7.14)? I initialized a CRA with this version and had no issues building a release version. (https://github.com/svenanders/cra-react-iframe).
I guess the issue is that that older versions of CRA uses uglifyjs, while newer uses terser (which supports ES6).
That notwithstanding, the best course of action is that I compile the es build to ES5.... 1.7.15 and onwards does that :)

Did a quick test with 1.7.14 but got same error
Then tried with 1.7.15 and worked fine. Thanks!
