Tough one. On the other hand we should also try not to let sandbox grow too far from master -- it was a ploy to not have /each/ commit trigger builds.

I fear if we add too many bells and whistles and branches we either break things or forget to trigger builds.

Good point -- and once we're making less regular changes to the Dockerfiles perhaps we won't want the sandbox branch. Let's stick with the what we've got for now then (pushing to sandbox and merging every day or so) and once there commit rate is down, maybe we can just delete sandbox.
