Build errors in Processing 3.1.1 about csoundo

Hi @narner , did you ever this sorted? I get a similar error myself. I'm just looking into this now as I'm trying to get this package updated for P3. It works fine on Linux, but I'm having some issues on OSX and Windows.

Hey Rory, I don't think I did - but I'd be curious to take a look at it again; do you know if it's possible to use Csoundo / Processing on an Android device?

I think it might have something to do with the version of Java used in the OSX release of Csound. I've updated the Windows version and put a zip file in the releases section.

We did manage to get this all working on Android some time back, but to it got a little complex and became tricky to maintain with each new update. For now I would suggest you look at the WASM build of Csound and p5js. I've added a simple p5js project based on Steven Yi's example here. This example will run on Android devices; I'm currently use this framework for some game development and it's working fine on Android. The WASM build obviously runs a little slower than native Csound, but it's remarkably fast considering. If you've any questions, head over to the Csound Slack group. There are a few heads there using the wasm build a lot.

I'll close this out once I have the OSX version up and running.

I can confirm the problem is down to a JAVA version mismatch between Processing and Csound. When I build Csound myself with Java 1.8 installed everything works fine. I'll see if the Csound devs can switch to using 1.8 on OSX as they do on Linux/Windows.

Should be fixed now. Just be sure to use the latest package in the release section, and Csound 6.11
