Log levels below Information not working about metrolog

Hi All !
You have to set the MinimumLevel in Logging Extensions:

builder.Logging
            .SetMinimumLevel(LogLevel.Trace)
            .AddDebugLogger(

        LogLevel.Trace,
        LogLevel.Fatal,
        new StreamingFileTarget(Path.Combine(FileSystem.Current.AppDataDirectory, "log"), 30));

my config is like this, but TRACE infos are not logged into file. Only INFO level or higher is logged.

Env: MAUI .net6.0 , Windows 10

I'm seeing the same thing - currently having to use LogInformation() in place of LogTrace().

Despite the fact that explicitly calling LogTrace() is not resulting in output, there is some setup info coming out labelled as TRACE (CreateLogger etc.).

Also on .MAUI 2.1.0 but in a .net7 project.

Same here, LogDebug and LogTrace are not logged.

Thanks for your reply. Why did they set the minimum logging level to "Information"? Strange, because you also set the min- and maxlevels when configuring the LoggerProvider. https://github.com/dotnet/runtime/blob/18e3bbf628eba8dd9e27a0e1da3ff168192e60c7/src/libraries/Microsoft.Extensions.Logging/src/LoggingServiceCollectionExtensions.cs#L42
