It would also be useful if large images that are inserted in-line with the text are resized to fit the window otherwise they become extremely cumbersome to work with as the resize "handles" are not visible in the compose window. While it's possible to resize the image from within the image dialogue box it would still be much more convenient if it was a reasonable size to start with.
