travis configuration about error-chain

We have mysterious failures on stable, should work on beta/nightly.

The setup I am usually using is testing on all three release channels with notifications (email) on failure and the first commit that does build again, for the email thingy please have a look at my travis.yml.

I'd be happy to send a patch but I need to know what you want exactly.

Do you want to be notified via email?
Which of the three channels do you want to build?
Which release channels should allow build failures?
Further, would you want your docs to only upload when there's a new tag, so that the documentation does not differ from the version people get from crates.io?

You can also use nightli.es to automatically trigger a rebuild every day.

I did not yet send a PR, I was asking these questions to carefully craft a travis.yml that does exactly what you want, you didn't answer yet so I couldn't create the file.

I think the issues of building on stable/beta/nightly are sorted out. It does make sense to me to upload docs only when tagged.
