Hi, could anyone help me here, msghdr exists as a private field in MsgHdr/MsgMutHdr, I can't get/set ip packet info using libc::CMSG_FIRSTHDR/CMSG_DATA/CMSG_NXTHDR etc, maybe we can expose msghdr as a public field?

The whole point of MsgHdr and MsgHdrMut is to expose msghdr in a cross-platform supported way. So we will not expose msghdr as a public field. However we can add a method to get and set the IP packet info, similar to the with_buffers or with_flags methods. A pr for that would be welcome.

Sure, thanks for your explanation, I might try it after the feature version is stable if possible.
