Small update on this one. We've experimented with adding this functionality but ran into some limitations/issues of InDesign itself. Basically, doing too many changes to a document and then rolling them back in this way via a script UndoMode can leave the document in an an "unstable" state. This is unlikely to happen on smaller documents, but we were able to reproduce this with larger documents consistently. As such we cannot rely on this for use in Rxindi in a generic matter.

Because Rxindi already requires documents to be saved prior to processing, the recommended way of working is to Revert the document rather than undoing the changes made by Rxindi during processing.

We'll monitor if this issue will ever be resolved on InDesign's side, but we'll close this for now as we will plan no concrete actions otherwise.
