well, I never got an about about that ...

I also don't know what the script does. maybe we should write a new one? the drawback is that I think it did some pretty good deduplication of identities and git-commit names.

Well, not completely. There is also some front-end script missing which call the scripts that you sent me.

Not quite. You sent me a tarball of some part of my home directory. Most of what I needed was there, but not everything.
