You mean being able to refer to iscsi devices using a wwn instead of a lun number?
I.e. specifying iscsi://10.0.0.1/iqn.example-target/wwn-0x60030480008bbc901ac2e7f6fe30872e
and when connecting to this URL, it would try to connect to the lun with the matching wwn?
That would be useful, but I am not sure that libiscsi is the right place to add this.
libiscsi tries to be as 'simple-bus' as possible
so this is I think better to add to block/iscsi.c in QEMU instead of in libiscsi.
