For the default constructor an initDefault call makes sense. In this method there could be a case distinction and depending on level and version defaults can be set or not. Classes that have an obligatory field, such as the id, should have a parameter in their constructor that enforces that the obligatory argument is set.

The initDefault is called in the constructor.
Inside the initDefaults, we set the default values according to the level and version.
