the following feature was not supported because the result would end in blurry images. I was planning on extending the options a bit with that feature, but for now, what you could do is serverside resizing on the image upload to meet your minimum dimensions criteria, or return an error message with something like "Image dimensions are too small. Please provide a bigger image".

Well, I really do hope you implement this feature sometime in the future. I was trying to fiddle up with the code to come up with something but failed miserably. Anyways, thank you for the quick response and keep it up. Great work!

This fork https://github.com/tkohout/croppic resizes the image when it is smaller than the container size. It works fine.
