Dedicated server crashes about screeps

I fixed this today on Windows 10 steam client by deleting my server folder at the game installation location. Then I did verify integrity of game files within steam, and it started working.

(random new to Screeps person glancing through bugs here) I'd try to trigger a debug log file, or increase verbosity. Often command line parameters can do that, and running with /? might print some help text if there isn't anything online about it.

Or disable any mods or changes you'd done before. Though you appear to have tried to clear things off somewhat.

Some programs still use files for settings (like the text based INI), or the registry (you'd have to search in regedt32 or find the path online). And uninstalling won't necessarily clear them. After you uninstall you could look in the install folder for anything you might delete to finish the cleanup. Or a "Screeps" folder in the registry (sometimes you get lucky).

And Steam can be set to use additional runtime settings that will probably survive an uninstall + reinstall. You'd have to clear them like you'd added them, under the game's properties dialog in the Steam client.

Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir here. Is this area well monitored? Meaning active responses from the developers and bugs being fixed. I'm guessing "not really" with one of the bugs I saw (title = '..' and otherwise empty).
