Status: December 22nd 2020

I finished the days goals with great time today, but I didn't have much else to do. I have decided to start doing the tasks on my old to do lists for when I have time, so that I can reach 150+ commits per day again. I have been feeling pretty unproductive lately.

Today, I didn't continue work on the video directory project, I am taking a break from it today, as I still have to figure out how I am going to factor in the older directories.

As a side task today, I cleaned out the downloads folder on my laptop and did mass organization for it. It is now cleaner and easier to manage.

My phone crashed for the first time today at 2:36:38 the cause of the crash is unknown. Luckily, it kicked me off the game before I could waste any more time.

Today was an OK day for development.

Late Status update: December 23rd 2020

I had a good day with development today. I began writing Project Wikis again today. I tried to reach 154 commits today, but I got tired and quit early. I worked on 28 different repositories today.

I have started to re-invest heavily in the Linux defender project recently, today was the 2nd day of doing so. I also wrote lots of good documentation today.

Today was an OK day for development.

Status update: December 24th 2020

I had a good day with development again today. I began writing Project Wikis again today. I managed to achieve my goal and reach green 2 (154 commits in one day) activity on GitHub, something I haven't been able to achieve for nearly 3 weeks. It might be my last hoo-rah of the year, I am thinking of trying 1 last time though.

I have started to re-invest heavily in the Linux defender project recently, today was the 3rd day of doing so. I also wrote lots of good documentation today, and did lots of Wiki work, along with the usual Thursday work.

Today was an OK day for development.

Status update: December 25th 2020

I didn't do as much today. I spent time with my family for the Christmas holiday. I got 10 presents, the thought really counts. I got a new TV, which I am also now using as a monitor.

I had some issues today, and had to go and distract for a bit. I also finally came up with some project language puns. I am considering making project language files for all image projects soon.

I did a decent amount of work today, but not a lot. I skipped wiki work today, and stayed up really late.

I am working on learning Inkscape to digitally manipulate images, as I feel with the major RAM hogs I already have (Firefox with over 100 tabs, 3 LibreOffice documents, and a garbage filled nautilus) GIMP probably won't be an option. I have some ideas. Today I took my first steps and learned how to import an image.

Today was an OK day for development.

Status update: December 26th 2020

I didn't do as much today. I spent some time doing Christmas technical support for families today. I did the usual work on GitHub today, with additions being 3 new programming language IDE projects, and a new major project: Candroid

Candroid was an idea I came up with in the bathtub. It is an advanced Android BusyBox with many major features.

I really didn't do much today. I woke up late and spent a lot of time gaming as well. I am going to bed early tonight, so I can wake up early tomorrow. I didn't do any Wiki work today.

Today was an OK day for development.

Status update: December 27th 2020

I didn't do very much again today. I mostly worked on image uploads. I have been working on fixing my schedule, dealing with incidents, and recovering my health. I am hoping to be able to do a lot more tomorrow.

Status update: December 28th 2020

I didn't do very much again today. I mostly worked on image uploads. I have been working on fixing my schedule, dealing with incidents, and recovering my health. I am hoping to be able to do a lot more tomorrow.

Today, I did some work on the optometry project. I put some work into it, but after research, there is a lot more to it than I thought, and I will need to work more on it tomorrow.

I ran into some technical issues today, especially with Bluetooth. Unfortunately, I had to switch headphones for now.

Today was not a very good day for development.

Status update: December 29th 2020

I didn't do very much again today. I mostly worked on image uploads. I have been working on fixing my schedule, dealing with incidents, and recovering my health. I am hoping to be able to do a lot more tomorrow.

Today, I did a lot of work on the optometry project. I realized that a method I was using for programming was far too inefficient, so I paused development on this part until I can find a better method. I expanded on the concept today, adding support for many languages and alphabets, along with the first source code for the project.

My bluetooth technical issue did not occur today. This was not a concern today.

I managed to reach activity level 3 (green, 154+ commits) today, which is unexpected. I plan to reach green 3 again on new years eve.

Today was a good day for development.

Status update: December 30th 2020

I didn't do very much again today. I mostly worked on image uploads. I have been working on fixing my schedule, dealing with incidents, and recovering my health. I am hoping to be able to do a lot more tomorrow.

Today, I did a lot of work on the optometry project, finalizing the structure of the language system, but nothing else. Other than that, I did lots of Wiki work in various projects. I had a great deal of free time today due to my Wednesday schedule, and my game not going well, so I had lots of spare time to work and relax today, but stiil go to bed early. I plan on staying up for new years, but I likely won't be committing past 11:45 pm. I will send a Discord message to bring in the new year (if I can remember)

My bluetooth technical issue did not occur again today. This was not a concern today. However, my laptops battery issues are getting worse. When I got the laptop, the capacity was 94.0 but could charge to 100%. Recently, it has dropped to 89.9 capacity, ever since it started reading incorrectly. I don't know what it means, as capacity is used so vaguely. Today, my battery immediately dropped from 100% to 94% upon unplugging. I am considering more and more on having a backup laptop, so I can do repairs on my main.

Status update: December 31st 2020

I didn't do too much again today. Time really seems to be moving quickly. I worked on most of what I wanted to accomplish today, except for finalizing the Wiki on 15 projects.

I discovered a limitation on GNOME today, which is I can't show the year on the titlebar. I wanted KDE anyway, but I still can't switch my DE. I worked a lot on documentation and image uploads today. Today wasn't too excited, but it went by really fast. I am excited to see my new 2021 panel on GitHub tomorrow, I have been waiting for nearly 2 months now. I am saving the excitement for tomorrow. I start with a new clean slate of monthly progress tomorrow.

Happy New Years! Goodbye 2020, hello 2021. I won't be up to work on GitHub at 12:00 am, I plan on sending a message on Discord, as it is the best I can do for the moment.
