PIC32-EMZ64 virtual com port about litebsd

not sure if in the mean time the virtual com via usb is working but doubt it is not. I started in late April and now use for the kernel the git version. You have to add a USB/UART 3.3V connected to the UEXT connector or try to connect via telnet.

There is no USB support in litebsd yet. You will need to connect up an external USB to UART adapter such as an ft232b breakout board.

While not a serial console, if you have an Ethernet cable and a switch, and you edit /etc/netstart to a valid IP address on your network before you create your sdcard.img, you can telnet into the machine. That's what I do.

ethernet works but the console is very slow. E.g. ps takes about 5 seconds to come back. Is this normal?

That is what I experience too.
Reaction on the UART via USB/COM is fast
