This is the way it should be as i dont include the wallpapers directory for various reasons its set that way to show how the wallpaper changer works a bit more visually then some flat lua.
to get rid of the error mkdir the wallpapers directory and add you wall paper images and rm the symbolic link and use the wallpaper changer to recreate the link to a file that exists in your awesome config directory.
Please also keep in mind this is supposed to be an example config it has allot of awesome features enabled by default it was never really designed to be a drop in and go with no modification configuration but a good example of how the various libs and api's work and how to create your own widgets whilst still being a working config with some user intervention.
Thanks for the Feedback :)

Hey
No worries. It's just that this single thing prevents the whole config from being a very nice drop-in configuration set. By having the default wallpaper as a file, people indeed only need to clone the repository and they are good to go. Right now, they get a cryptic message, and nothing works.
If you don't want to change this, you may want to document this in the readme.md.
Cheers

Ill play with a couple of ways of showing this Off better :) and add it in maybe a nice opensource image and include the wallpapers dir may fix it without taking away from the underlying principle :) thanks for the input mate much appreciated 👍
