Fair point. Thanks for bringing this up.
The glibc project does have a somewhat more complicated set of licenses attached to it. I'll review the situation in more detail now.

The majority of the project uses LGPL. Other parts use licenses like GPL (utilities), BSD (incorporated from BSD 4.4) and specific commercial components have their own licensing.
I'll change the overall package license to LGPL and update the package configuration to pull in the LICENSES
file to each of the packages to make the other parts more explicit.

Note that the COPYING
file in the project is still GPL. COPYING.LIB
is the LGPL component.

I've looked at all the licensing files included in the source distribution, as well as those included by other packagers (e.g. Debian) and it's not very clear where the delineation lies.
