I use the Arduino IDE.

PS : I can compile, link, upload and "run" the examples like AXP20x_IRQ, SimpleWatch or the framework found on instructables without problem.

The project is intended for PlatformIO only. Please visit the start page of this project and read the manual.

Ok, I'll switch to PlatformIO than but can you say to me that PlatformIO have the missing hardware files like motors.cpp, ... ?

You have to get the right libraries fro PlatformIO. For me, the code works fine. Both with VSCode and VSCodium.

There's a workaround for the whitespace after macro problem (not due to anything in this library) in issue #34

I have re-started from scratch, delete all the directories, ... and everything works fine now ! I can compile and upload the project.
