Weird, this works fine for me. Tried multiple times. (OS X 10.9.5)

I think i figured out what's going on.

At least in my zsh, when i trash the current directory, the path in the prompt still has the original full path. Because the path did not change (and pwd shows the original path too) - I assumed it wasn't getting trashed and ran it a second time.

This second time it's actually running trash on something already in the trash bin, and that's when OS X gets angry.

Closing as user error.


We could open a new ticket that trash should die with an error code when run on a directory already in ~/.Trash, but it's not a big deal to me.
