Hi Henrik,
There seems to be an issue with the retrying system in the current version. It should be able to handle that situation. Oddly enough, I just ran into this on a project I was using it on as well. This will be fixed in the next release (which might be today...).

It seems that retrying is operational within a given predicate include path, but not across paths like it should be.

I was able to reproduce the issue and have fixed it in version 2.0.2 that is on NuGet now :)
