The motivation for creating this generator is to automate most commonly used tasks while creating SpringBoot applications.
I have limited the DB options to just Postgresql, MySQL and MariaDB as I see these are the most commonly used databases. I haven't even included Oracle and SQL Server also which are more commonly used in enterprises compared to DB2.
Adding support for these database is not just adding the jdbc driver and configuring respective JDBC connection parameters in application.properties, we should also make sure Flyway and Liquibase migrations works, Testcontainers configuration for those DBs etc.
But if anyone is interested to create a PR with support for DB2 or Oracle or SqlServer it is more than welcome.
