You will need to rename assets\cavenoise to assets\cave_dweller
Delete everything except the geo and textures directories

Cave Dweller Hitbox

The Cave Dwellers hitbox does not include its head in version 1.4.0

Is this for fabric?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but im not sure if this is for fabric or forge. I added the mod to my modpack, and it's not showing up. I have geckolib, and I don't have the original mod installed.

Spawning Broken when config changed

Attempted to edit the config to allow the dweller to spawn on the surface and instead it completely bricks the mod.

Also when restarting the server the config gets overwritten to default.

Cave Dweller cobweb bugged Interaction.

Hi, playing around with the Cave Dweller in diverse scenarios revealed that it gets stuck pretty easily in cobwebs. I made some videos showcasing it.

Incompatibility with the mod Enhanced AI

Something me and a friend noticed when trying to curate a modpack was with the mod Enhanced AI the dweller doesn't give chase it only flees; it acts just like a passive mob

cant seem to find the correct jar file for cave dweller 1.19.2

1.19.4 Dweller cant chase

It can't chase in 2 blocks high paths and can't crawl through one block also. its stuck

For some reason on my server running 1.19.2, if one person is being stalked by the Cave Dweller, everyone on the server can hear the noises as if he is right next to you. Makes it too annoying to be usable.

climbing causes problems

when the cave dweller is chasing, climbing can cause it to get stuck and not crawl/crouch, instead just standing at the end of the lower roof, sometimes it works as normal though.

Animation issues

I downloaded the 1.20.1 version for this mod from curseforge, and put it into a custom modpack I made. all of the animations don't seem to work, I have geckolib, but I don't know why the animations aren't working, could I get some help?

Dont have forge port

Can you also port the fabric version for 1.18.2?

I saw a 1.18.2 for the forge version, figure I'd request for a 1.18.2 release for the fabric if you don't mind doing that!

Cave Dweller Issues

Hello! I downloaded the 1.19.2 version of your ported mod but the issue is that the entity does not do anything, no sound effects, does not spawn normally, anything like the original 1.19.3 mod. How do I fix this issue?

cave dweller gets triggered through blocks

Is this intentional? if it is can it be turned off in some way?

It's kind of annoying to just be walking through a cave and be jumpscared by an aggressive cave dweller because you looked the wrong way and angered a cave dweller in an entirely seperate cave system,

and it also messes with the flee behavior sometimes, because the cave dweller thinks you can see it when you can't
