The bug comes from the engine that does not allows empty text in dialog data files.
Fixed in commit solarus-games/solarus@371b446.

I updated the doc and the changelog. (solarus-games/solarus@4204bc4, solarus-games/solarus-doc@9d003aa).
But I keep this issue open, because the bug is not solved for the 1.4.3 version.
