Well, I don't think that SonataAdminBundle should contain doc tied to FOSUserBundle. This is the easiest way to have an outdated doc
from sonataadminbundle.

Security.rst already references an example access control config for FOSUserBundle.
I just thought perhaps it should be current to avoid confusion.

I know it shows it. And tis is exactly the issue IMO. The doc of AdminBundle should not contains doc about FOSUserBundle, especially when there is no dependency to this bundle

The documentation is now up to date.
The documentation explains a default working configuration, there is nothing wrong with that.
More over the FOSUser will be widely used by the Symfony2 community.
