Hi, I'm Souvik!

I am a Graduate student in Electrical Engineering at the National University of Singapore. I hold a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, and have previously worked as a Software Developer at QBlocks.

Before my graduate studies, I developed Deep Learning models for drones at Omnipresent Robot Technologies in New Delhi. Subsequently, I interned with PT Kaltim Prima Coal in Indonesia, where I led a UAV project that increased revenue by $1.26 million.

At VIT, I collaborated on AI, Robotics, and Electrical Engineering research projects with my professors. My accomplishments include placing 10th in the electric BAJA SAE competition, winning the Aerospace Quiz League, and contributing to open-source projects. I also participated in various community initiatives as a Student Member of the Youth Red Cross.

• Predicted Remaining Useful Life (RUL) for turbofan jet engines using a Random Forest Classifier Model. • Performed Exploratory Data Analysis on NASA’s Dataset and analyzed feature correlation using Seaborn. • Applied hyperparameter optimization using Randomized Search CV and increased F1-Score to an overall 91.2%.
