Sorry for the delay.

I could not reproduce this error.
I tried multiple scenarios and my html file is alway written is specifed folder.

Do you still experience this issue?

Hello there @jakeflavin, it's written wrong, in your case this should work:

htmlbuild: {
  dist: {
    src: 'src/index.html', 
    dest: 'dist/',
    options: {
      beatify: true,
      styles: {
        css: 'dist/css/*.css'
      }
    }
  } 
}

Try that, so our friend @SomaticIT can mark this issue as solved now.
