Any specific potions? Splash or normal?
Its probably me missing another packet in the EntityID rewriting.

All potions work for me, including speed as lol768 mentioned.

It seems to only happen after switching between servers. For me, switching to my creative server and then applying a potion does nothing. Reconnecting then shows the potions and they work. The bubbles do show when the potions are applied but seemingly not next to the inventory.
Poison for example, hurts the players but doesn't make their health green.
All potions do seem to be affected (all types + splash/drinking)

Yeah sounds like an EntityMap issue, will run through all entity mappings once again tonight.
