why don't support agp below 7.0?

We generally only try to support the last 2-3 major versions, because staying up-to-date with AGP changes is generally a good idea. 7.0.0 has been out for almost a year (July 2021), so there has been plenty of time to update.

Here are some reasons why we couldn't upgrade the agp, can I fork this project and try to support 3.6-7.0?
