spring unittest problem about spring-integration-kafka

I see only this issue in your code:

 auto-startup="false"

on the <int-kafka:outbound-channel-adapter> definition. That means that the particular endpoint isn't started to consume messages from the common-message.producer.
From other side that channel is queue, so any sent message to it is just buffered and that's why you don't see any Exceptions on the invocation.

Let us know how it works if you you change to the auto-startup="true"
