More so, how do I set this up to run in webots and develop on the webots things. I'd like to get involved in development but have no idea where to start on even getting it to run, never mind debugging!

A development environment is identical to the environment in which the kit runs, the difference being that you're editing the sr.robot package rather than the controller.

But yes, adding something like that to the readme can't hurt!
