We are actually working to find a solution the browser can provide. Much work is going into promise developer ergonomics.
Maybe for the time being we add the instrumentation back to this project, or you may want to use RSVP until the devtools can help

Going to close this - if you want the extra features RSVP provides, go with full-RSVP (and window.Promise = RSVP.Promise.
Hopefully we can get good Promise debugging in the browser.
