You are absolutely right. There is something to do here. I got the feeling that take()
would be solution, and calling interrupt()
would be a nice solution just after setting the isStopped
boolean flag to true. That could be a gracefull way to stop the thread while it is in its waiting state.
What do you think of it ? I am gonna try it if I can find some time to code during DroidCon Uk.
