You can do it by hand or if you take a look to the mininet code in NG-SDN tutorial you can see how to automatically create them

1. the connection is entablished via the netconfig pushed to the controller, so basically it contains the ip addresses and pots of the grpc servers that run on top the switches.
2. The topology is generated by mininet, so you have to change it in the python script that define the network
