Another option in place of allowing user-supplied certificates is to allow setting a domain name for the Streisand instance & having a role that provisioned a Let's Encrypt/ACME client to issue certificates as required during provisioning.

I can look into it! I'm not sure what the best approach would be. Was your main motivation to eliminate the SSL certificate installation step for the Gateway, or were there other reasons as well?

It's really nice to have each client 'just work' without installing certs (for isntance, accessing via https after the server boots).
