i made it as foundation-css cheat sheet and mostly for newbies at front end and or foundation framework.

@media #{$small-only} {} @media #{$medium-up} {} ....
adding these as media-queries will make things shorter, but don't you think in order to be clear i need to have another div with default ranges of breakpoints and more over i think it might throw people off who have no idea what sass is

Yes, I intended it for the sass version, where the ranges are declared in the _setting file.
For the css version this kind of mediaqueries are not usable..
