Susan Boyd (she/her)

About

Hi! I'm Susan, a backend software developer who left the service industry behind for the world of technology. The journey started while learning Ruby on Rails at Turing School of Software and Design and I am looking forward to seeing where I can take it next.

I have a knack for coming up with unique solutions to problems wherever they seem to pop up, great communication and interpersonal skills, and I have way too much fun organizing everything from a beer cooler to a carry-on sized backpack so imagine my delight with databases and object oriented programming. I thrive in fast paced environments, am quick to adapt to new situations and am constantly excited to learn. I believe that technology is best used to both help and connect people whether they are in the same community or across the globe!

When I'm not consuming APIs I can be found consuming tacos in my kayak, hiking or exploring new places.

Feel free to check out my work!
