Before I assign this issue, I have a few doubts regarding the created issue:
Have you checked the code after forking? The app on the Play Store is not updated. Please confirm if you have reviewed the code.
Now, I have a few specific questions:

For the visual aspect, could you please provide a template-type design for reference?
Regarding the search bar, which activity should it be added to?
Which technology did you use for offline backup?
Additionally, there is a user feedback button. Have you had a chance to review that as well?
I kindly request that you provide answers to these questions before proceeding.

I've reviewed the code,
I will be adding search bar in notes activity, so that users can easily locate their notes based on the content name between different recyclerview items.

And I will be implementing Import and export feature for offline backup. Users can export their data to a file and save it to their device. This ensures that users always have a backup of their data in case of any device failure or loss.
However, I have decided not to implement online backup due to cost reasons. Online backup solutions typically require ongoing fees for storage and bandwidth, which can add up quickly as more users join the app. To keep the app free for users and avoid potential privacy and security concerns associated with storing data on third-party servers, the decision was made to offer offline backup options only.
however this backup feature can be ignored if you intent to add a login feature to the app so in that case I can add firebase authentication via Gmail/phone.
Gmail login would be better as on successful login we will have user name, his profile pic and email which we can directly use in the app in order to provide better user experience.

Additionally I can also add animations to this using lottie dependency
