Conversion of matrix to expressions about symengine.jl

What's your expected output?

An array of Expr instead of Any, with expressions instead of integers. I.e. :(1), etc.

How do you make an Expr out of integers? :(1) gives an integer.

No idea. I didn't know it did that.

julia> :1
1

julia> :(1*1)
:(1 * 1)

that's the only workaround I can think of.

Can you explain to me why the 3rd line gives an array of Any, while the 4th doesn't?

julia> using SymEngine

julia> @vars x y
(x, y)

julia> convert.(Expr, [x x+y])
1×2 Array{Any,2}:
 :x  :(y + x)

julia> convert.(Int, [Basic(1) Basic(2)])
1×2 Array{Int64,2}:
 1  2

Symbol and Expr promotes to Any while Int and Int promotes to Int
