SearchBot

SearchBot is a simple script with GUI that automates the earning of points for Bing Rewards.

Features

• Allows for up to 5 accounts at a time (not Facebook accounts)
• A ~25,000 search list that contains many commonly searched for (contains NSFW language)
• Uses PhantomJS and Seleneium to drive a hidden browser to earn points

• Encrypts and saves login information on local machine
• Detects how many points needed for both mobile searching and desktop searching
• Earns the "Earn and Explore" points
• Variable search delay that can be changed in the code, default is 10-30 seconds
• Searches for web, images, and videos for desktop searching (image and video searches don't register for points on mobile for some reason)
• Emulates an iPhone to obtain mobile searches

Requirements

• Java 1.7 or 7 JRE

Installation

1. Download SearchBot.jar in the master branch or click [here] (https://github.com/T-Wong/SearchBot/raw/master/SearchBot.jar).
2. Run the downloaded file.
3. Done.

Usage

1. Input your account information for your Bing Rewards accounts.
2. Click "Save" if you want to save that enrypted information on your local computer.
3. Click "Start" in order to start earning points.
4. Once the "Start" button becomes usable again, it means that it has finished.

or you can compile it yourself if you don't trust my pre-compiled version.

searchbot's Issues

Question from a new programmer.

Hi T-Wong, I'm new on GitHub and an upcoming Computer Science student, I'm new to programming as well. I find your comments very helpful in the code. Thank you for doing all of this. I have some questions for you. I'm assuming you are keeping this BingBot updated. How are you dealing with the random captchas from Bing? Also if possible, a cool feature to have would be a visual counter to see where the search count is at for each account. I would love to see how that would be done in code. Thank you.
