I just noticed that this is still an issue in every browser besides Chrome.
Tested on:
- Internet Explorer 11
- Edge 38
- Firefox 54
- Chrome 59

I guess this is due to the way the slidshow component works. The slideshow component rapidly adds and removes CSS classes to Elements and triggers reflows. Some rendering engines might not like that. (Except for IE's engine. For some reason that one's the fastest.)
Anyways, I'm not gonna spend any more time on fixing this since I haven't noticed this bug for a long time and therefore I'm closing this issue.
