As loaddata and dumpdata (see https://coderwall.com/p/mvsoyg/django-dumpdata-and-loaddata) are in existance this feature is kinda obsolete except for the images. That's why there is an image export and import tool as of commit 0be21c0 and there wont be any further effort fixing this.
