these methods are called for each page of the final pdf. for example, if your final pdf file has 32 pages, these functions will be called 32 times. so make sure that this is not the case.

Yes, apart from getBodyViews(), other functions do get called once per page as you can show different headers, footers and watermark par page. Check you total page count and number of method calls should match.
