TernRename Fails with non-ascii token about tern_for_vim

I can't reproduce this on Linux, with Python 2.7 and UTF8 as the system's default encoding. If I change the default encoding, vim goes to pieces entirely when editing non-ascii text (showing the cursor in the wrong place, and so on)

Does the patch below help for you? I must admit that I've never really fully understood Python's handling of character encoding. It just seems too wrong-headed to wrap one's head around.
