Question: How do I specify a VPC to deploy the instance into? about terraform-aws-ec2-instance

It will default to your current in use AWS account but I always use the subnet_id argument to ensure that I'm deploying into the proper private or public subnet. Using the subnet_id will dictate the VPC naturally.
