Currently, the older react-native-matomo library contains some functionality which is still missing from this library. In order to make this a viable option, it should at least include the same functionality.

List of implemented and missing functionality:

Hello I need to be able to setVisitorID (not setUserID) this is to join up our app with our webviews. It is not available in this SDK

There seem to be no failures on my end, in the native code or non native code, but "no data" is appearing in Matamo. I have installed your example project, and run on android - seems to be working but no events tracked, and have tried running on ios but get this error: Pods/OpenSSL-Universal/ios/lib/libcrypto.a(bio_lib.o)' does not contain bitcode. You must rebuild it with bitcode enabled (Xcode setting ENABLE_BITCODE), obtain an updated library from the vendor, or disable bitcode for this target.

There exists another library similar to this one at react-native-matomo, which offers roughly the same functionality. Unfortunately the maintenance of the old library seems to be a bit low on resources, so we decided to produce a separate library which we can maintain for our own uses. Hopefully, in the future, we would be able to combine the libraries and share the maintenance burden.

Android is not logging time spent in app (showing as 1s in Matamo UI), iOS working correctly.
