Hi @developerdenesh, Elasticsearch 8 is secured by default. So, you can try adding withEnv("xpack.security.enabled", "false"), so, it can behaves as Elasticsearch 7

from testcontainers-java.

Thanks for the suggestion above, I have added the withEnv and the pipeline works up to elasticsearch docker image 8.13.4

I just saw the log message

2024-05-15T14:02:07.236Z  INFO 174 --- [demo] [    Test worker] t.d.e.c.13.4                             : Container docker.elastic.co/elasticsearch/elasticsearch:8.13.4 started in PT35.790303347S

So, the container is initialized correctly in gitlab runner, so there is no issue with container initialization at all. I have run this test with version 8.13.1 and runs ok locally, you can also take a look at the test to see if something is missing.
