You'll have to add a non-root user to the Dockerfile. That will look something like this:

FROM python:3.7-alpine

# set work directory
WORKDIR /usr/src/app

# set environment varibles
ENV PYTHONDONTWRITEBYTECODE 1
ENV PYTHONUNBUFFERED 1

# install psycopg2
RUN apk update \

RUN pip install --upgrade pip
RUN pip install pipenv

# copy entrypoint.sh
COPY ./entrypoint.sh /usr/src/app/entrypoint.sh

# copy project
COPY . /usr/src/app/

# add and run as non-root user
RUN adduser -D myuser
USER myuser

# run entrypoint.sh
ENTRYPOINT ["/usr/src/app/entrypoint.sh"]

This is working when i run in production mode, but not when i run in development mode.
