Process Id about white

How does the process id change? Are you sure the app is not already running then you launch another copy of it?

You can also attach white to an already running process?

Edit, well I do see your question, that is not possible with White as far as I know. But if I have more information I probably can tell you a way to do what you want to achieve

Not sure if this is the case here but if the application under test is an Installer, then they can spawn off separate processes which can confuse White (or UI Automation for that matter). I've had this before and you'll need to attach to all processes (separately) that spawn off from your application. Simply launching the application won't be enough in this instance.
