Localisation strings often failing to render about deployment

We're currently running 4 MediaWiki containers

Only the last one, mediawiki-5c768c4c77-n9rqs, is failing to render localised text. I've now isolated that container, so it won't receive any live traffic, and I'll dig in and see if I can figure out why it's failing.

MediaWiki was configured to cache localisation strings within the local filesystem

So each MediaWiki instance was maintaining its own individual caches.

Somehow, mediawiki-5c768c4c77-n9rqs ended up with a corrupt English cache file. Rebuilding the cache file fixed it in that instance.

To prevent this reoccurring, I've removed our custom localisation cache configuration. MediaWiki will now fall back on its default behaviour of caching the strings in the database.
