Mobs in objects are not picked up by viewers() or hearers(), which are sadly used everywhere in the code. Instead we should be using visible_message(), and change it to loop through active players, similar to how play_sound() works. Say code could be changed to use visible_message too instead of the recursive mob check it uses now. For reference: #3153
